24 VDC LED tubular luminaire, ø70, for process and storage zones at extremely cold temperatures

The Celsius luminaire is designed to light up spaces with extreme conditions at negative temperatures down to -60°C. This model is supplied with 24 VDC and can durably withstand thermal shocks and frequent turning on and off at -60°C.

The Celsius X-Cold luminaire can withstand the conditions faced in extremely cold areas.

This luminaire, with its composite diffuser and stainless steel end-caps and fixing straps, meets regulations on materials likely to come in contact with food. This luminaire is designed to avoid any risk of broken or lost parts, and helps to ensure compliance with IFS, BRC and HACCP requirements for food sites.

Specific LED technology, qualified to -60°c

CELCIUS X-Cold incorporates customised LED circuit boards, for 24 VDC supply. Thanks to components which are specifically designed for use at -60°C, these fixtures are not affected by frequent turning on and off or significant temperature variations.

Insensitive to impacts at low temperatures

At very low temperatures, the mechanical strength and sealing of a poorly designed luminaire can be seriously degraded. Thanks to its 3-seal system and homogeneous materials with no mating surfaces, the Sammode housing stays sealed around the clock (IP68, IP69K), and withstands impacts (IK10) and vibrations, even at -60°C.

Materials able to withstand chemical attacks

Sammode opted for a composite diffuser, combining the mechanical solidity of polycarbonate with the chemical resistance of a thin layer of co-extruded and indissociable PMMA. This approach provides ideal protection from the detergents used for site cleaning or maintenance phases.

Plug & Play installation

Quick to install and reliable, with no risk of losing parts, with fixing straps and a pluggable connector with a quick locking system, protected against freezing temperatures and humidity thanks to resin-coated contacts in the terminal board. Stay cool, Sammode has everything covered!
