The MOD Recessed wall light was created by German designer Stefan Diez, specifically for Sammode. The design and proportions of this 100% anodised aluminium model, including the decorative wall disk, may take you by surprise! It is suitable for a wide range of applications, as both a wall or ceiling light.

A unique design

How can you direct light, control its perspective and create an endless range of atmospheres? Designer Stefan Diez focuses on these aspects, incorporating them in the technical bricks that comprise this unique model. With the adjustable supports in the form of circular bars, interchangeable lenses and a wide range of decorative rims, architects have almost boundless possibilities for adapting the fixture to their design.

A fully modular lighting system

Stefan Diez designed this collection of modular luminaires to reflect Sammode’s long and rich heritage, producing an innovative system with widely adaptable architecture and state-of-the-art technology, or what he calls “The Universal Tool Box. The result? A luminaire that can incorporate a range of lenses and decorative rims that you can change at will.

Made-to-measure luminaires for a never-ending choice of atmosphere

Mix and match your lenses and rims to create your preferred ambient light setting. The MOD Recessed spotlight comes with a perforated collimator or a tinted glass shade, ideal for use as a reading lamp or headboard light, bringing refined, comfortable light to your room. When installed as a ceiling fixture, match up the Bronze finish with a smoked glass shade to give a room a resolutely contemporary feel.

Designed to fit ideally into your architectural design

Install the luminaire on the wall or ceiling, simply conceal the driver in the suspended ceiling or in the wall. Only the head will be visible, and you can use the two circular bars to adjust the angle of the light over a full 360°. The MOD Recessed blends perfectly into the area to be lit, contributing to the site’s architectural design.
