LED tubular luminaire, ø100 & 133, for industrial environments at very low temperatures

Sealing and temperature variations are rarely compatible, so Sammode designed the Bering specifically for deep-freezing tunnel and cold room lighting down to -40°C. The Bering luminaire remains totally sealed, including if temperatures vary substantially or during high-pressure cleaning.

The Bering X-Cold luminaire can withstand the conditions faced in very low temperature industrial environments.

Ideal food sector lighting

This luminaire, with its silicone gaskets, composite diffuser and stainless steel end-caps and fixing straps, meets regulations on food grade products. The sealed housing, with its axial tightening (Screw© system), eliminates any risk of broken or lost parts, and helps to ensure compliance with IFS, BRC and HACCP requirements for food sites.

Durable materials, able to withstand thermal shocks

Sammode opted for a composite diffuser, combining the mechanical solidity (IK10) of polycarbonate with the chemical resistance of a thin layer of co-extruded and indissociable PMMA. This approach provides ideal protection from the detergents used for site cleaning or maintenance phases.

Reinforced electronics, compatible with repeated turning on and off at -40°c

Even top quality housings cannot prevent electronic failures, so Sammode has integrated a solid LED driver, with a long service life. This driver is unaffected by electrical interference, significant temperature variations and frequent on/off cycles and can guarantee ultra-reliable and durable lighting.

Plug & Play installation and maintenance outside of process zones

The quick pluggable connector, with resin-coated contacts in the terminal block to protect against freezing temperatures and humidity, can be used to install the luminaire without process downtime. This luminaire is 100% repairable and upgradeable, guaranteeing a quick installation and removal, even in 10 or 15 years, with no risk of losing parts.

Motion sensors: full power from the start

Only light areas when you need to, thanks to the optional motion sensor, based on a high-resistance sensor. When combined with the switch-off warning function, these models cut your energy bills by up to 90% in less-frequented areas, while maintaining the safety you need.
