The Turin metro, Italy’s first automated network, is based on a modern, high-performance infrastructure. Line 1, 15.1 km long, links Fermi to Piazza Bengasi and comprises 23 stations. It uses the VAL (Véhicule Automatique Léger) system, ensuring driverless operation and high train frequency.
