Designed as a stimulating and inspiring place of learning for teenagers, the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Kapan is part of an ambitious architectural approach, enhancing the existing heritage while adapting it to contemporary uses. Entrusted to Normal Studio, the project has breathed new life into the former Kapan railway station, now transformed into a hub dedicated to digital creation. To accompany this transformation, Sammode designed a lighting solution combining performance, elegance and durability.

The lighting was designed to create an atmosphere conducive to concentration, creativity and exchange, while respecting the architectural identity of the site. Uniform, controlled lighting enhances the station’s restored volumes, while ensuring visual comfort for young users and supervisory staff. Whether in the shared computer space, the coworking area or the cafeteria, Sammode luminaires integrate discreetly and efficiently, meeting the technical requirements of a space welcoming a young public.

Through this project, Sammode confirms its commitment to lighting innovative educational spaces, providing technical solutions designed to last, respecting the architecture and serving learning. A successful first step towards the second phase of the project, which will see the creation of new buildings incorporating classrooms, robotics areas, studios and a cinema, all driven by the same demand for quality and light.
