Lighting for the “Quai aux Fleurs” footbridge in Evry

The Quai aux Fleurs footbridge, linking the Miroirs and Pyramides districts of Evry, is an emblematic structure designed by the DVVD agency. Its innovative architecture, inspired by the double helix of DNA, features a progressive rotation of metal tubes, creating a volume that embraces pedestrians while ensuring visual transparency and lightness.

To enhance this design and guarantee optimum visibility, Sammode developed a tailor-made lighting solution, incorporating robust, high-performance luminaires. Sammode luminaires, designed to withstand the most demanding outdoor conditions, provide homogeneous, glare-free light, ensuring safety and comfort for users, while highlighting the architectural lines of the footbridge. Thanks to optimized management of light intensity and the use of high-efficiency LED sources, the system guarantees controlled energy consumption and exceptional durability.

This project illustrates Sammode’s commitment to designing lighting solutions that combine technology, aesthetics and respect for urban requirements, thus contributing to the enhancement of architectural heritage.
