Bodom
Floor lamp

“We love the history of objects, which is above all the history of human beings. We love extraordinary experiences, the testimonies of societies, the processes of implementation as an approach to shaping ideas.” Normal Studio
The Promenade collection is the result of a collaboration between designers Éloi Chafaï and Jean-François Dingjian, who work together under the name Normal Studio, and Sammode. Attentive to industrial processes and familiar with technology transfers, they revisit everyday forms through a design that is both sober and rigorous, magnifying the quality of use. Their approach embraces object design as well.
Designed for contemporary use, the Promenade collection is based on three supports in die-cast aluminum or concrete, onto which Sammode’s emblematic tubes are grafted. Thanks to these supports, the famous Sammode tube emancipates itself from its traditional attachment to become an autonomous object, freed from all architectural constraints. The result is a series of luminaires that can be moved as required, for use both indoors and outdoors.
Astrup is a table lamp in die-cast aluminum, designed for use both in the living room and on the terrace.
Balke takes the form of a contemporary, mobile and robust hand-held lamp, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Bodom, finally, is an elegant floor lamp, combining aluminum and concrete, which blends in naturally with both landscaped environments and high-traffic areas.
With Promenade, Normal Studio and Sammode have created a collection that is both functional and poetic, in keeping with the brand’s high technical standards and taste for timeless shapes.
