Le Collier de la Reine, nestled on rue Charlot in the Marais district of Paris, has a decor that is both raw and sophisticated. Brushed steel, exposed walls, clean lines: the space plays the card of restraint and substance. In such a masterful setting, light could not be left to chance.
Sammode luminaires were a natural choice. Firstly, for the quality of their light – soft, precise, glare-free – but also for their aesthetics, in keeping with the spirit of the place. Their sober lines, tubular casing and robust construction blend effortlessly into the interior architecture, accompanying it without ever stealing the show.
Here, lighting is not about effect. It highlights volumes, emphasizes textures and creates an enveloping atmosphere without artifice. It contributes to the identity of the site, extending the architectural choices right down to the smallest detail.
